Lucian Y. Moreman, II, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Moreman is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He is married and has two daughters and a son. Dr. Moreman received his Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Kentucky in 1968. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Kentucky in 1972. Cincinnati General Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio is where he completed his Internship followed by his residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. In July 1976, Dr. Moreman entered private practice with P. Stephen Armstrong, M.D., as a founding member of Elizabethtown Physicians for Women, PSC. He became a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1978. His prior positions of leadership include: Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, University of Louisville School of Medicine, former Chief of Obstetrics for Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, President of the John W. Green, Jr., Gynecologic Society, Trustee of the Kentucky Medical Association, and Vice-Chairman for the KMA Board of Trustees, just to name a few.
Amy E. Preen, D.O., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Preen received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and graduated with Highest Honors. She received her medical degree in 1998 from Ohio University and was awarded the Specialty Medicine Award. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2002 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. During her training she was awarded the Outstanding Intern Award, Outstanding Research Award, The Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award, and the Army Achievement Medal for Meritorious Service.
Dr. Preen is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). After her residency, she served as a staff Obstetrician and Gynecologist for the Army in Heidelberg, Germany from 2002-2006. While in Germany, she served as the Assistant Chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department until becoming the acting Chief prior to her departure from the service. Upon completion of her Army commitment, she began practicing in Elizabethtown in 2006. She joined Elizabethtown Physicians for Women, PSC, in 2008. She served as the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hardin Memorial Hospital in 2014.
Dr. Preen is married with two children. She has a passion for horses and on her time off she enjoys horseback riding, reading, and spending time with her family.
David A. Hamilton, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Hamilton is a native of Meade County, Kentucky. He has two sons and two daughters. Dr. Hamilton received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky in 1981. After working in another profession for several years, Dr. Hamilton decided to return to Medical School at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Centers and graduated in 1998. He completed his internship in 1999 and his residency program in 2002 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Dr. Hamilton worked with the Physicians at Bluegrass Women’s Health in Lexington, Kentucky from June 2002 to June 2003 until he joined Elizabethtown Physicians for Women, PSC in July 2003. Dr. Hamilton was previously a clinical instructor for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology & Women’s Health at the University of Kentucky. He has received many honors over the years including Best Faculty Teacher at the University of Kentucky, Resident Teaching Award, Administrative Chief Resident, Resident of the Year, D. Kay Clawson Award and the Louise Perkins McHenry Award to name a few.
Myra Anne Henderson, D.O., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Henderson is a native of Brooklyn, New York. She is married and has a son and daughter. Dr. Henderson received her Bachelors Degree from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Her rotating internship was completed at Michigan Osteopathic Medical Center from 1987-1988. Her Residency was completed at Brooke Army Medical Center 1988-1992. She served as Chief of OB/GYN at Reynolds Army Community Hospital in Fort Sill, Oklahoma from 1992 to 1995 and then she entered private practice as a solo OB/GYN physician with Bay Obstetrics and Gynecology in Bay City, Michigan in 1995. Dr. Henderson joined Elizabethtown Physicians for Women, PSC in 1998.
Shannon L. Holt, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Holt is a native of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She is married and has two sons and a daughter. Dr. Holt received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Transylvania University. She earned her Medical Degree from the University Of Kentucky College Of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Holt completed her Residency in 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Holt was a Clinical Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from July 2004 until July 2007. She joined Elizabethtown Physicians for Women, PSC in August 2007. Dr. Holt has received numerous honors including the 2002 Berlex Best PGY-2 Teaching Resident award at Good Samaritan Hospital. She has previously conducted and participated in numerous research projects.
Jason E. Goodman, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
After obtaining his undergraduate degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, Dr. Goodman completed his medical degre from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2008. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, & Women's Health in June 2012.
Ruth McConnell, CNM, MSN
Ruth Anne McConnell is a native of Glendale, Kentucky. She received her Nursing Degree from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. Ms. McConnell completed her Masters Degree in Nursing at Case Western Reserve University located in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her Certified Nurse Midwifery and Nurse Practioner training at Frontier School of Midwifery & Family Nursing located in Hyden, Kentucky from 1986 to 1988. Ms. McConnell has been a member of the American Academy of Nurse Midwives and the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives. She served as a Nurse Practioner/Nurse Midwife at the Jibla Baptist Hospital in Yemen from 1979 to 1997. She worked with the Lincoln Trail OB Clinic in Elizabethtown, Kentucky in 1992. Ms. McConnell joined Elizabethtown Physicians for Women, PSC in 1997.
Chantel E. Unseld, NP-C
Chantel Unseld is a native of Nelson County. She received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1999 from Elizabethtown Community College in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 2003 from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky and her Masters Degree in Nursing in 2006 from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Mrs. Unseld has been a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Greater Louisville Chapter of the AACN as the Jewish Hospital Liaison. Mrs. Unseld worked as a Critical Care Nurse in the Open Heart Recovery Department of Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky from 2000 until joining Elizabethtown Physicians for Women, PSC in 2007.
Kimberly Barnes, APRN, CNM
Kimberly Barnes is a native of Hardin County, Kentucky. She is married with four children, two boys and two girls. She graduated with her Associate degree in nursing from Elizabethtown Community & Technical College in Elizabethtown, Kentucky in 2004. Kimberly received her Baccalaureate degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana in 2012 and her Masters degree from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky in 2015. Prior to coming to work at Elizabethtown Physicians for Women she was a Registered Nurse on the BirthPlace unit of Hardin Memorial Hospital for twelve years.
